Provides tense variations of the word. Example manages, managed, managing

Boolean Operators: AND, OR, NOT, XOR
Examples: death AND penalty; weapon OR firearm; gun NOT knife; granted XOR denied (XOR one or the other, but not both)

Proximity Operators
