The Collection


The Branch Library functions as a centralized court library collection for the District of New Mexico and consists of primary and secondary legal materials relevant to federal litigation and the judicial process.

Collection development is based on local judges' requirements for new titles and reflects as well an effort to coordinate library holdings throughout the Tenth Circuit.

In addition to primary legal materials, the Library contains finding aids, treatises, looseleaf services, hornbooks, legal encyclopedias and dictionaries, as well as selected law reviews,periodicals, Federal Judicial Center publications, and non-legal reference sources. Microfiche holdings include Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations.
