Judge Starzynski was appointed to the Bankruptcy Court in August 1998.  His most recent service as Chief Judge was from January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2005.*  He is one of two judges in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico. *Designation as chief judge of the Bankruptcy Court rotates periodically.
