Scheduled CM-ECF and New Mexico PACER Downtime - Saturday, November 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Saturday, November 21, we will be upgrading our electronic filing program (CM-ECF). Due to installation and testing of the upgrade, CM-ECF and PACER (New Mexico only) will be unavailable from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. This means that you will not be able to file electronically or view and print New Mexico Bankruptcy Court case information during that 4-hour period. You will still be able to access the Court’s website.
The main change is the addition of a check box at the CM-ECF login screen. See the notice dated August 10, 2009, 2009-13: Privacy Reminder Added to CM-ECF Login Screen, for an explanation of the change.
This more emphatic version was required by the Judicial Conference of the United States to highlight the filer’s responsibility to redact personal identifiers pursuant to Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037. The banner will read as follows:
IMPORTANT NOTICE OF REDACTION RESPONSIBILITY: All filers must redact: Social Security or taxpayer identification number; dates of birth; names of minor children; and financial account numbers, in compliance with Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037. This requirement applies to all documents, including attachments. The final submission screen for most docketing events will remind you of the redaction responsibility by asking if you have redacted. There’s no box to check; it’s just a reminder question.
❑ I understand that, if I file, I must comply with the redaction rules. I have read this notice.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
