Register for an ECF Attorney Account
To register for an attorney account, complete and sign the ECF Attorney Registration Form. E-mail the signed form as a PDF document to ecfhelp [at] nmcourt [dot] fed [dot] us or fax it to (505) 348-2473.
Electronic filing of documents is mandatory in this court for attorneys and trustees. Attorneys and trustees are also required to read the following:
- Electronic Filing Procedures - general guidance regarding all aspects of e-filing
- Applicable CM-ECF e-Filing Procedures
- Local Rules of this court and Clerk's Notices
Persons registering for an ECF attorney account will also need a PACER account to view and print court records. An ECF account is assigned to the individual attorney; in fact, the ECF login and password constitutes the attorney's signature for purposes of e-filing. A single PACER account, however, may be used by any person (attorney or not) in a firm or other organization.
