Case Management - Electronic Case Filing (CM-ECF)

The bankruptcy court for the District of New Mexico uses the national federal e-filing system, known as CM-ECF, for filing bankruptcy cases and documents electronically. For attorneys and case trustees, electronic submission of documents is mandatory in this district. Currently, there are no provisions for persons filing bankruptcy cases without an attorney to file electronically.

If you already have an account, you may log in here.

Registration

Before registering for an ECF account, please review the system requirements.

Attorneys and case trustees must register for an ECF attorney account.

Filers of proofs of claim and other claim-related documents that are administrative in nature (not necessarily requiring review by the court) may register for an ECF limited-use account to file these documents electronically.

Holders of an ECF account and other persons who want to view and print case records must register for a PACER account. In addition to the ECF e-filing account with this court, e-filers should also have a PACER account.

NOTE: Prior registration for an ECF account with the United States District Court does not satisfy the requirement to register for an ECF account with the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Logging In

Before logging into CM-ECF for the first time, please read the court's Electronic Filing Procedures, general guidance regarding all aspects of e-filing.

CM-ECF requires that your web browser be configured to allow popups, cookies, and execution of javascript. For detailed instructions on how to enable these features, read the browser setup instructions.
